Welcome to the Museums for Europe Summit, taking place in Kraków from 11–13 December 2025. This landmark gathering unites museum professionals and cultural leaders from Central and wider Europe for an inspiring exchange of ideas, strategies, and solutions.
Building on the momentum of our first gathering in 2024, which celebrated the 20th anniversary of the EU’s expansion, we aim to deepen the dialogue on how museums can foster collaboration, innovation, and European solidarity.
The summit is dedicated to addressing the unique challenges and opportunities facing the region. The agenda features keynotes and debates covering vital topics, including: developing solutions for community involvement and social action, sustaining intangible heritage, and mechanisms to limit political influence while building institutional resilience.
Our overarching goal is to discuss strategies for pro-European and pro-democratic actions and place museums at the heart of Europe. Join us for this important discussion.

Practical information:
- Main venue of the summit is Krzysztofory Palace, main building of the Museum of Krakowa at Rynek Główny 35
- We suggest two hotels located close to the center of Krakow, both offering a 10% discount on the rates listed on their official websites, as well as an additional 5% discount for members of the loyalty program.
